Overlay brush design for Photoshop and others example

The brushes set is by graphicxtras.com, all the brushes are for royalty-free use in commercial (and also personal use). The brushes come in three formats. The first format is Photoshop brushes format ABR, simply load these into Photoshop Elements or Photoshop via the file > open command and then access the brushes via the brushes tool and brushes palette. The brushes can be manipulated in 1000s of ways such as used in art history, clone, pencil etc. They can be combined to create new brush designs, they can be re-sized, rotated, scattered and much more.

The brushes set also includes PNG brushes, they can be used as Paint Shop Pro brushes but they can also be used as a source for Painter brushes, Photo-Paint nibs, PhotoImpact and many other graphics applications. The PNG files can also be used, of course, as a source for patterns or displacements and other designs such as overlays or scrapbooking designs or even as a source for custom shapes. The PNG files are easy to use, simply use the open command in the file menu of most applications (you may have to convert the PNG format to JPG etc for some applications). The PNG files can also be used in 3D applications as perhaps a bump map or surface texture etc

The brushes set also includes PSPBrush format files and they are specific to Paint Shop Pro. To use them, place the PSPbrush formats in the Paint Shop Pro brushes folder (you can find this via the Paint Shop Pro file > preferences > file locations section as this changes with the versions), once there the brushes and the scripts will appear in the brushes tool palette. Use with the PSP brushes. The brushes can be re-spaced, rotated, hue changed, etc - especially effective when used with the pen pressure and brush options.

The brushes set also includes a thumbnail gallery showing all the brushes in the set. The set also includes a selection of EPS designs, again, all are royalty-free for use in commercial (as well as personal work). The EPS designs are vectors so can be used to any size of work. The EPS designs can be opened via the file > open command or place or import (this varies from application to application) and used as a layer. You can then apply effects, scale, rotate the design, use as a source for brushes and patterns and much more
